Minorca or Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and belongs to Spain.
Its highest point, called Monte Toro, is 1174 ft above sea level.

In 1993, Minorca was designated by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve due to its phantastic flora and fauna.
